Last night I dreamt that Hannah Wilson and I were PIs hired to solve to solve a kidnapping job--rich parents hired us to find their missing daughter and her boyfriend. We didnt want to take the case because it looked like a runaway, except there was also an unexplained death linked to their disappearance, which the police refused to investigate. We solved the case, and found the kids, but they had amnesia surrounding the time of their runaway. As we left the house, the camera lingered on the young couple, and I saw a contorting face/body appear out of the sheets and Samara from The Ring appeared and attacked the girl, then I woke up. I realized I had just dreamt an origin story for The Ring.
