Last night, I drove through Cardenas Village, where I grew up. Wow, so surreal. Very emotional. The drive up the winding hill to the village had my heart racing. I knew exactly where my house was. There it was: my house, the bus stop for school and location of all kinds of mischief, the tennis courts, each and every one of our friends homes...memories flooding in so quickly, I couldnt contain my emotions. I just broke into tears...wow, does time fly. I swear it was yesterday.
