Last night I had a great parenting moment. I told Ryker it was time to get ready for bed and he started throwing a fit saying I dont wanna go to bed! So I said, Ok, fine. Daddy and I are going to bed, so if youre going to stay up, youre going to have to brush your own teeth, put on your jammies by yourself and tuck yourself in. Also, no TV, you have to play quietly. So he tucked us in and went to his room. 7 minutes later, he came back in our room and asked me to shut off his lamp, he was ready to go to bed. So he got himself ready for bed and to sleep he went. Much easier than fighting with him.
