Last night, I had one of the scariest dreams of my life. I dreamt that I got married! Me in two-piece suit, shiny black shoes, a red buttonaire on my breastpocket and a slim red tie. A few steps away, a bride in a white gown, a curl of hair falls underneath her veiled face. She holds a bouquet of red roses. Her lips glimmer, her smile is charming...through the veil, I see her innocence. The congregation is a large one. Men in agbadas and over worn glasses. Women in red and silver headgears, voile laces I have never seen before. The ankara people dot the congregation sparsely. I dont know the brides father but he hands me his daughter. The clergyman says a few words, I am not listening but I hear when he says I should lift the veil. I did. That was when the dream got scary. That was I woke up too....
