Last night I had to battle passing clouds and lots of mist to nab this image of Comet Lovejoy C/2014 Q2, its made up from 31 x 20 sec exposures at ISO3200 captured with a Canon 60Da through a Canon 200 mm lens set at f/2.8, I had my camera and lens riding piggyback style on my LX90 SCT hence the short exposures but I knew I was going to have to throw away a lot of images due to the mist anyways so I figured short exposures would be best for the atmospheric conditions, the exposures were stacked in DSS using the align on Comet and Stars mode and 15 dark frames were subtracted for calibration.
