Last night, I met up with my good brothers Mike Fenty and Matthew Cheah. I praise God for faithful men like that. So what did we do? We went out to share the gospel. Of course we did, it was Testify Tuesday! This happens every week! Its been a while since I met up with this group from Harvest Bible Chapel York Region. Its been such a long time that I joined Testify Tuesday. Its been so long that I didnt know how to start! Thankfully God helped us. The first conversation was with this man *Prav* and his family. After we talked, it turned out that his wife was Christian, brings both their kids to church, and has been trying hard on him for 10 years! The wife was helping us evangelize too! After a little bit, she took a really long bathroom break (I think to give us time to talk to her husband, haha!) After we explained what sin truly is and he realized that he was just as guilty as all of us, we asked him if he was sure he would get to heaven. HE didnt know. we then told him that just like a traffic ticket, a payment needs to be made. At this he asked, So what is the payment? Looking him straight in the eye, I held my necklace (which is a cross), and said, This. Jesus Christ is the payment for our sin. He is the payment that covers all the fines we owe. He is the payment that satisfies the wrath of God. He is the only payment necessary and the only payment possible. This is good news indeed. Its great to be the bearer of good news.
