Last night I was holding Soren running around the couch and my Mom was chasing us. Soren was laughing SO hard, it was hysterical. Next thing I know, going around one of the turns, we went from standing straight up to flat on the floor in like a MILA-second. We hit FAST and HARD. But indeed, no matter how fast we went down, my protective maternal instincts kicked in and I put my elbow down to keep Sorens head from hitting. Today, my elbow is swollen, bruised and very painful. My knee is swollen and scraped and basically I feel like I got hit by a truck. Earlier, Soren asked how I was feeling and as I rattled off my list of ailments, his response: bless your heart. hahahaha He makes it all better.
