Last night I was turned away by every hostel, because I do not have a ticket to prove I will be leaving the island. drove me fecking crazy. I did find a place, for far too much money. This morning I was able to find a place on the north shore that will rent me a bed for tonight, without said ticket. I have never felt more like a lost country bumpkin than i did last night. Had some crazy local chick try to take advantage of me, that was funny. I just chased her away with my cheerful disposition. She walked off saying i was weird and crazy and she hoped that i got raped. sweet woman. I hope that real tourist do not run afoul of people like her too often. I am getting ready to check out of here, as soon as I finish my coffee, and start my journey back to where Dan is. It looks as though the doctors finally gave him zanax, like I kept telling them to do, and Dan got a good nights sleep. That is the most important part, sleep deprivation does not do a body good. I also had my first good nights sleep since arriving. Yay!!!
