Last night I went to Triangle Rock Club - Morrisville for the first time since the expansion. I immediately felt like a small child who overslept on Christmas day. My emotions were conflicted, vacillating between excitement and wanting to kick myself for waiting so long to check it out (even though it has only been open for a couple of weeks). Kudos to Andrew Kratz and Joel and the rest of the TRC crew for putting together a top notch climbing facility right here in our backyard. The walls are fantastic, there are plenty of cubbies and benches for gear storage, and there is even a water bottle filler and separate sink for washing up. The sheer volume of leadable terrain makes me sore just looking at it. If you havent been to TRC Morrisville since the expansion, do yourself a favor and go today. As soon as I am done with the big show in October I will pretty much be living there. Until then? Back to our regularly scheduled programming of carrying heavy things all over the East Coast for days on end.
