Last night I went to play Backgammon at the La Posada Hotel here in Santa Fe. I had the Valet park my car because the parking on the street is rare to find. When I came out to get my car I was talking to the valet and totally missed the stairs. (2) Fell flat on my hands and knees dropping my huge Backgammon set. The valet, a lady, and a guy came running to my rescue. I said just let me sit here a minute so I can see if anything is broken. Well, the guy (short with all kinds of crystals and things around his neck) said that he was a healer and asked me where it hurt. He put his hand on my knee and told me that it would be ok. He said that he was a psychic healer gay man. I said I know. He said You know Im a psychic healer? and I said, No, I know you are a gay man (He was very gay and very funny and concerned for me) I also asked him if he had any cures for my embarrassment and he laughed. When I was finally able to get up he threw his arms around me and kissed me.....right on the lips!.....Then he said Oh no, I didnt mean to kiss you on the lips. The whole thing was pretty hilarious. On the way home I was laughing to myself. I felt so stupid but it was really nice to know that people were there for me.
