Last night I went to see the "The Great Gatsby" and it was visually beautiful. Leonardo de Capprio is not Robert Redford though. The real winner [apart from the Wellington High first eleven girls football team-full house] was the revamped Roxy movie theatre. Absolutely gorgeous. 1920s décor in keeping with the original building, just like the movie really. Weta guys did it, Peter Jackson and especially Richard Taylor, and they have crazy money, also a bit like the movie.
