Last night I went to see the movie Noah. When I was there I realized that from the beginning of the year to Easter there will be 4 movies out that are Bible based or referenced. We have had Son of God, Gods not Dead, Noah and Easter day they will release Heaven is for Real. To me this is really encouraging and one of the 4 was made by (according to the media) an atheist. Thats AWESOME! I havent been a christian as long as many of my friends on FB so my way of looking at things seemed to be different than many others. But with all of these movies going on shouldnt we be excited and spending our money on them so they will make more movies in this flavor. And above all to be open and loving, not.... the other. To be honest, if I wasnt saved (and I remember being there, it wasnt that long for me) the posts I have read and comments Ive seen there is a good chance it would have turned me further from wanting to become a Christian or to be hateful and judgmental as the garbage people are dumping. When we are lost, we know inside there is something better, a reason, a call even if we dont know its Christ, we just know there is something better and are quietly searching for it. Will the comments, arguments, opinions that you are producing, bring even that one lost friend on FB that has been secretly watching you to see if Christ really is the answer or allow them to not want to follow? This is not a rant. I would just love to see all believers take this great opportunity that we have right now and grow the Church. That is what Jesus came to build!
