Last night Kurt and I did some late evening shopping courtesy of John Lee and Loren Statz, who chose to have us select for the Palmer food pantry on their behalf. It was interesting to discover how much Kurt knows about nutrition (and cost). We found good things, and plenty of them, for these good men to share. Driving home in the dark, it was nice to imagine good breakfasts and dinners that will satisfy when times are difficult. After the many tragedies of this last month or so, I can only hope the food pantry will be better able to help those in need, and take some worry away from families that are struggling.
