Last night my Dad passed away due to injuries he received from cowardly actions done by the true definition of coward. However I dont want to publicize those events anymore than they have been. I would instead like to reflect on the great life of my Dad. Its impossible to put into words how much my Dad has meant to me personally and to my family. He has taught me so many things and has led by example everyday of his life, he always told me that at the end of the day you have to be able to look yourself in the mirror and ask, Did I do everything to the best of my ability today? And you did Dad, every day you did. He was the hardest working man I have ever met, he was tough, and he was the best Dad I could have ever asked for and he was the best husband to my Mom. There have been very few athletic games in my life, out of the countless that I have played, that my Dad hasnt been on the sidelines cheering me on. He was my #1 fan. I have never had any problem big or small that he wasnt willing to help me get through. He loved his family more than anything in the world, I take comfort in the fact that he never held anything back, no fist bump left undone, no hug left ungiven, and I Love You left unsaid. I feel that we have been robbed of many life experiences together, and the only reasoning behind it that I can wrap my head around is that the ones we had were so perfect that we couldnt have anymore. He was the best, and he fought hard till the end. But this is not the end of Steven Swan , his presence is to great to be confined to a physical sense. His spirit will live on forever, we will have a new guardian angel looking over us and helping us through life. Theres no goodbyes only see you laters. I know your in heaven now so please say hello to everyone for me and make sure you pet Webster and tell him we miss him. I know how much you missed him. Thank you for making me the man I am today, and thank you for the guidance you will continue to give me. You make me forever proud to be a Swan. You are my Dad, my coach, my biggest fan, and my Best Friend. Until I see you again one day, I love you and I miss you. I will make good on our promise. I love you so much. Showboat
