Last night opening for Alter Bridge and Aerosmith in Lodz was about as much as fun as a rocker could have! It was unbelievable!!! Now I could watch Aerosmith just about every night and good lord do they deliver! And man, as a guitar player I gotsta say that those dudes in Alter Bridge put the shred in shredding. Me? I sing like a Ive spent the last month eating light bulbs in a circus side show and personally I thought my little raspy mile of bad road was complemented nicely by that Myles Kennedy. Who sings like an angel. He really does! Like he dropped right out of heaven. Im surprised God didnt keep him upstairs for his own heavenly choir. So that makes a nice Thursday evening for sure, with the audience so enthusiastic and full of piss and vinegar. I have to say it warmed my little black heart. Well just about the time my ears stopped ringing and I pulled the paper from Aerosmiths confetti cannons out of my hair, we pulled into one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Prague. Friday the 13th! Tonight It was our own headlining show at the Lucerna Music Bar. The crowd was nuts! They made sure we played every thing in the Walking Papers catalog! (And a few not yet in the catalog.) It really was a pleasure to have a little more time to leave some skin on a stage of our own. Tomorrow we have another headlining show in Hungary and if they bring it like Prague and Lodz have, this could shape up to be one of the best weekends in the Walking Papers story. Goodnight!
