Last night, the girls beat Chagrin Valley Middle School in an exciting meet. Several girls really swam at their best last night. Izzy Ciferno swam a best time on her anchor leg of the last relay, helping solidify the win. Ripley Crosley swam a best time by a long shot in her 50 freestyle, and DeDe McLendon swam a girl on fire on her backstroke for the relay! Great job ladies! The boys fought hard, but it came down to the last relay and we were edged out by Chagrin Valley Middle School. There were several great swims from the boys team as well. Ben Browngardt broke a minute for the first time in his 100 free, which is a big milestone! Hayden Palmer swam a very solid 400 freestyle to set the tone for the season, and Cameron Kim dropped 4 seconds in his 100 freestyle, which a huge improvement. Tough loss, but well get them next time.
