Last night was last FNQ Goalkeeping Academy and Professional - TopicsExpress

Last night was last FNQ Goalkeeping Academy and Professional Goalkeeper Tuition (PGT) goalkeeping training for the year. Some are sad about this, but it is time for me to rest my feet, spend some good quality time with my own supporting family and get ready for next year.... I would to firstly thank all the keepers that attended any of my weekly sessions or clinics throughout the year. Your commitment and the hard work you have put in during each session/clinic has allowed you to be a lot more confident in playing such demanding role. I have been keeping an eye out on you all or have been hearing great comments and it is great to see. The results have been evident by a number of keepers being selected in rep teams as well as winning awards at club level as well as at carnivals and now having the confidence to attend FC Heat trials. The academy has been set just for this reason, to ensure that all have access to specialised training or to play at higher levels and allow the quality of keepers in the region get better and be rewarded for their hard work. Well done to all. Secondly would say a big thank you to all those soccer parents and their taxis out there for running your child around each week to attend their training or clinics. Without your support the development of keepers in the region would not be happening. Thank you!!! I will be back up and running in the new year ( at the moment Feb/March - not far away), but I will send out a little email to you all advising of the start date. If you do have anything you want to ask, or find out about the academy, please contact me via here or on my mobile. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and see you in 2015..
