Last night we attended the American Cheese Society Awards ceremony last night AKA the Cheese Oscars. We are stoked that a Dairymaid favorite, Tarentaise Reserve, won Best of Show, with Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Bay Blue with a 2nd place Best of Show. Texas cheesemakers took home many awards as well, including The Mozzarella Companys 1st place ribbon for Deep Ellum Blue, a 2nd place ribbon for Goat Ricotta, 3rd place ribbons for Cella, Caciocavallo and Pecan Praline Mascarpone Torta. Pure Luck Farm and Dairy took home a second place ribbon for Hopelessly Blue and third place ribbons for their Chevre and Feta. Were so proud of all our cheesemaker friends!
