Last night we had to say goodbye to our Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Loki. He had been battling a brain tumor and it got the best of him. We took him in after we re-homed his litter mates that were pulled from Carbon County SPCA. Loki from the beginning was a lovable misfit. He was smart, affectionate, but not the best when around other dogs even though he lived with 6 other dogs with us. Loki really shined when interacting with people, he made a lot of people smile during his lifetime. My wife, Amy Bailey-Eckert, worked with him and they got AKC Rally Novice, Advanced, and Excellent titles together. Were most proud of him being one of our three dogs that appeared on Dogs 101 a few years ago, with Maggie at the intro and commercial breaks. Loki and Maggie were always together similar to an old married couple. Loki enjoyed the beach, tug of war games, and snuggling next to us on the couch. We love him and we will miss him.
