Last semester, I actually had many dreams of being in California/LA filming and directing music videos for big named artists. I have always loved film, photography, and anything to do with creativity or art; But this was different because I had always thought of it all as just hobbies, not something I could base a career in. I thought that God may be calling me to where He wants me in life through my dreams because there were multiple dreams throughout the semester. But I just pushed it off because I still just thought of it as a hobby. After having those reoccurring dreams and wrestling with it all throughout the semester and over summer, I decided to follow through with it and have changed my major to Cinematic Arts! My dreams are big with this, and I know not everyones dreams come true, but I have high hopes for film. God has plans for me in the film industry and I just hope to use my perspective to be a light to people, but to also make awesome videos instead of mediocre ones! I get really excited thinking about the thought of hopefully making music videos in LA and I cant wait to learn all that I can while here at LU!
