Last week, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor cast aside the ENLIST Act, which would allow young undocumented immigrants wishing to join the military an opportunity to apply for citizenship. Regardless of what you think about military service being a trade-off for citizenship, Representative Cantor setting aside this bill reinforces the Houses continual pattern of resistance to ANYTHING that would allow immigrants to come out of the shadows.
