Last week, I posted that our office is “growing” and today, I’m excited to announce exactly what I meant by this… Just this month, we officially hired two part-time District Coordinators to help us respond to the volume of inquiries and events within our district. Please join me in welcoming Sarah Robot and Bernard Williams to Team 182! Sarah Rabot was born and raised in South Jersey. After high school, she attended Boston University where she double majored in both Spanish and International Relations. While at BU, Sarah studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, and she simultaneously worked at a nonprofit while taking classes in Spanish. Some of her policy interests include immigration, womens rights, and environmental issues. In her free time, she likes being outdoors, cooking, eating delicious things, and traveling anywhere near and far. Bernard Williams is a graduate of the Philadelphia Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) with a major in Vocal Music. He was inducted as a member of the National Honor Society of High School Scholars and has participated in the NAACP for four years through his community service. Bernard has performed at the Kimmel Center under the direction of Maestro Yannick, with the Philadelphia Orchestra on MLK Day, and for the show “Messiah” at Tindley Temple. He currently attends Community College of Philadelphia to obtain an (A.A.S.) in Nursing. We are eager to have Bernard and Sarah join the rest of my staff: Mason Lane (Chief of Staff), Rhonda Campbell (Capitol Legislative Assistant), Anna Aagenes (Deputy Chief of Staff), and Tim Keller (District Director) for the rest of 2014. If you stop by our district office, we looking forward to introducing you to both Sarah Rabot and Bernard Williams!
