Last week I took a little mini vacation to a surfing beach call Tola here in Nicaragua. I went with some friends and had an amazing time. I love to take picture and I just wanted to share with you a couple of a young man surfing at this beach. His name was Kevin, a native who lived in a small fishing village near the beach. He is not a wealthy person, attends a local public school, and spends alot of time on the beach. However, this young mans english was very good, he is part of the Nicaragua National Surfing team, and teaches surfing to people who show up and want to give surfing a try. I showed him the pictures of himself surfing, he was so pleased, so appreciative, and humble when I told him how great a surfer I think he is. I really enjoyed my short visit with him, learning about his day to day life and I hope you like the pictures I took of him. I think their great!
