Last week I went to Watercourse Foods for the first time since - TopicsExpress

Last week I went to Watercourse Foods for the first time since they went fully vegan. As much as it pains me to say, since WC used to be my favorite restaurant, I was extremely disappointed. The food was mediocre and maybe two things on the menu didnt contain some variation of fake meat or cheese-blech. It doesnt seem like they actually added any new dishes to the menu, either, and simply took off a large portion of their dishes that used to contain dairy or eggs, rather than creating new and creative dishes that I used to love. They also have hugely reduced the portions of each meal. The main corse stays the same, but you no longer get to choose two sides, and instead one. I ordered the onion rings and received maybe five onion rings on the side of my plate. And while they reduced the size of the dishes, they shockingly failed to reduce the price. In the end I paid $10 for a sandwich and a small portion of onion rings, where as I used to be able pay the same price for my meal with a generous portion of two sides of my choosing. Honestly, as greedy as it sounds those sides where a large reason why I kept coming back. I used to love the old, generous and creative Watercourse. Just because they went vegan doesnt mean you have to forgo customer satisfaction and creativity. Does anyone else feel the same about the new and improved Watercourse, or am I alone in my drab experience?
