Last week I wrote a status about judgemental Christians. The reason I wrote it is because after the premier of Preachers Of L.A., namely the ManCave scene, people on Facebook begin to talk as if they knew all of the facts behind the system of Bishop Clarence E. McClendon Ministries and how they function. I (and a few others) knew I/we didnt know all the facts, so I didnt voice my opinion prematurely and ignorantly as a LOT have done. Personally, Ive always liked Bishop McClendon. And me being who I am, I know about TV producers and how they edit—and that is to only show the worst in people while showing a little good, thus producing SCANDAL (DRAMA). And what better way to do that than to do it to Americas preachers. I must say, I agree with someone who said our brother Deitrick Haddon (if he doesnt already) needs a strong spiritual father and/or mentor (if he does, I honestly dont see the fruit of it). A pet peeve of mine—whether youre a Christian or not, but ESPECIALLY if youre a Christian—is when someone is talking and you continue to cut them off. When we communicate, we dont do so to PROVE OUR POINT. We are to LISTEN, TRY TO UNDERSTAND and COMMUNICATE BACK in a manner that shows youre trying to understand their point of view and if you dont understand it, at LEAST come to the grounds of agree to disagree...not be disrespectful and continuously CUT THEM OFF with foolish and ignorant talk. Even IF he made valid points, the character of our brother Deitrick wasnt displayed as the character of Christ. Period. My prayers are with him... Well, I am glad Bishop McClendon took time out of his day to clear up some things and to shine the Light on what REALLY took place (and you know me) from a KINGDOM perspective. And please, if you have not watched THIS video all the way through, dont comment; my intent is not to stir up foolish and ignorant conversation. I think I will continue to watch.
