Last week Ss. Peter and Paul’s staff were joined by some parishioners to visit Church of the Nativity for Matter 14, a conference on parish ministry. We went to learn how we can make Ss. Peter and Paul the best parish and school it can possibly be. During the the two days we spent our time praying, singing praise, and attending workshops on how to strengthen every aspect of parish ministry. The conference incorporated many of the principles from the book Rebuilt: Awakening the Faithful, Reaching the Lost, and Making Church Matter. Our staff returned thinking about the importance of hospitality, group prayer, engaging worship, and helping parishioners to share their faith with others. We left with hope in our hearts believing that Ss. Peter and Paul can be a parish on fire —a community in love with Jesus.
