Last week, Thanksgiving week has always been a little slow for us (kids out of school and deer season steal our customer base ) so we close for Thursday and Black Friday. I have to say it was good to have a couple days off in a row and it gave us a chance to prepare for Thanksgiving celebrations, the Ridge View family traveled in from down south and from the east . Besides over eating and watching non stop football, we somehow managed to get the Cabin decorated outside and inside for Christmas plus process some firewood for home. Saturday we went out and practiced what we preach and did a lot of local buying (shopped nowhere except locally owned businesses ) we hope you did too. After 4 consecutive days off I have to say Im ready to get back in the game and start cooking some BBQ. Our next few weeks are pretty packed with private parties and Christmas dinners (we still have some weekday openings) so our time off should have us ready for our busy winter season.
