Last week sixty four pupils from across eight local authorities in Scotland attended a residential at Lagganlia Centre for Outdoor Learning. This programme for S5/S6 pupils, is organised as part of the Outdoor Learning with the National Parks project which is a partnership project involving Education Scotland, Cairngorms National Park, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, Scottish Natural Heritage and the Forestry Commission Scotland. The aim of the programme is to encourage lifelong learning and support pupils to use outdoor learning experiences as part of their personal development and develop leadership skills within their National Parks.
