Last year on this night I sat in the surgery waiting area at UK Hospital while Jerry had one of many procedures he would endure. I was lonely and scared and upset and I think it was this moment that I truly realized that I had to ask God to give me the courage to face the future. I turned everything over to Him and He gave me peace and comfort that I had never known before. With His help I was not alone or afraid. So this Christmas Eve my hope for the sick patients and their care givers is to find that same peace and comfort that only God can give. Please remember them in your prayers.
