Lately it’s occurred to me that it’s actually kind of awkward to insert someone into your life, (or insert yourself into theirs), even when you both actually seem to WANT to. But when you are both grown-ups with lives of your own, it can be difficult to find some point where your separate lives can start to overlap even a little bit. But I suppose that’s the challenge isn’t it, finding someone with a “compatible weirdness” to share things with.
