Job Title: Terminal, Storage & Inventory Manager Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra DEPARTMENT: Terminal Management REPORTS TO: GM, Terminal Management STATION / LOCATION: Head Office, Accra SUPERVISES: Storage & Inventory Supervisor JOB PURPOSE * The Procurement manager is responsible for managing and coordinating procurement agents, buyers or purchasing agents, as well as working on the most complex purchases for the company Job Description * Ensure TMSP is in compliance with contract terms and conditions, deliverables and obligations, company policies, standards, etc * Facilitate regular business reviews with TMSP to discuss performance reporting, SLAs, deliverables, compliance requirements, other contract expectations, relationship health, and improvement plans as necessary * Monitor results against goals via TMSPs dashboard; proactively review dashboards to preempt internal business dissatisfaction * Identify and monitor TMSPs concerns, recommend solutions and follow up during the process as well as communicate resolution to ensure problems have been resolved * Partner with TMSP to deliver quarterly and annual business reviews with senior management * Manage the receiving /dispatching of product * Manage the tank farm which includes monitoring the efficiency of the movement and storage of product * Mange inventory ensuring stock control, warehousing, monitoring the flow of product, Pipeline Volume Calculations, Delivery pressure, Tank Calibration, Product reconciliation, Metering and Quality Assurance * Implement health and safety procedures * Sample and test products for quality control * Responsible for generating reports which include transfer report, sales report, monthly report and balance report * Manage inspections and basic maintenance on facilities, preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems * Manage routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, and government and industry standards * Supervise the transfers of product and monitors storage tanks, and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills * Conduct all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, and industry safe work policies/procedures * Make required log entries of product transactions, quality control, and maintenance * Manage contractors who perform preventive maintenance, services, and checks on fuels facilities * Accountable for meeting safety performance standards and completing all work safely * Responsible for reporting of on-duty accidents, injuries, near misses, and hazardous situations in accordance with company policy * Responsible for all terminal maintenance and some repairs, which may include but are not limited to painting, cleaning, maintenance, etc * Coordinate with Finance to pay utility and other bills at all depots Qualifications and Requirements * Bachelor’ Degree in Engineering * Project management is a plus * 8 years of working experience * 5 to 8 years of plant operations experience * Minimum of 5+ years of experience in vendor management supporting operations line of business * Experience in conducting and documenting vendor risk assessments * Knowledge of Health and Safety practices and procedures in the Oil and Gas industry * Strong project managements skills * Demonstrated ability to identify issues, propose and implement resolutions and elevate as needed appropriately as needed * Computer literate with good data entry skills * Exceptional customer service, attention to detail, self motivated, good time management skill, ability to multitask and excellent analytical skills * Proven relationship management skills with the ability to influence others If you are qualified for this position, Send your CV to [email protected] or click jobberman.gh/job/47157/terminal-storage-inventory-manager-in-greater-accra-region/ to apply jbgh.me/7jfbHr Share with friends!
