If the constitution says so, to me it is not an ideal situation and as such, that portion needs to be expunged from the constitution. A central bank governor is not supposed to be a politician neither is he supposed to act as one. More so, a Central Bank governor is not supposed to talk too much. He is supposed to be diplomatic and above all a CBNgovernor shouldn’t antagonise the President and shouldn’t at any time embarrass the president because he is answerable to him.
