Thanks Guys. “Excellent lunch” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 3 December 2014 NEW via mobile Visited this traditional pub with my husband and our dog after a walk along the Macclesfield canal. Dogs are allowed in the non carpeted area of the pub by the bar which was no problem. We both ordered sandwiches from the menu which came with side salad, my baguette also included some tasty chunky chips. Both portions were generous and nicely presented. Service was fast, and staff very friendly. Would highly recommend! Im not sure what previous bad reviews want from a pub restaurant, but in this place they cook the food fresh, serve it hot, and yes, its not fast food, but if you want that go to the chippy! New menu this last week, and its lovely. Thanks to the staff for another warm welcome. Visited November 2014
