Latest news on the current project of the Arab Puppet Theater Foundation, Refugee Centers in Art Residency - Beirut 2013. تم انطلاق ورشة عمل " Refugees Centers in Art Residency - Beirut 2013 " بحضور 19 متدرب من مجتمعات مختلفة ممن يعملون مع الأطفال اللاجئين الفلسطينين والسوريين في المخيمات في لبنان. وذلك في المقر الجديد (المدرسة) للمؤسسة العربية لمسرح الدمى والعرائس بيروت - لبنان. اليوم الأول : تم تدريبهم على مبادئ الحركة و الاحماء وبعض أساليب المسرح وتم تعريفهم على برنامج الإقامة وأهدافه. اليوم الثاني : تم تدريبهم على صناعة وتحريك دمية اليد من قبل المدربة مريم بلحص اليوم الثالث : تم تقديم عرض "ملكة الألوان" وهو عرض مسرح دمى كرتون مسطحه. بعد ذلك تم تدريب المشتركين على طريقة إعداد عرض مماثل,من خلال ورشة عمل "المسرح في صندوق" من قبل فرقة أصدقاء الدمى من لبنان ( تمارا كلداني, فاديا التنير وسهى نادر) "Refugees Centers in Art Residency - Beirut 2013" started with 19 students from several communities, including Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian, which are working in the refugees camps in Lebanon. The workshop started in the new location (the school) of the Arab Puppet Theatre Foundation – Beirut. First day: Students learn about the principle of theater. The students were introduced to the residency program and its main goals. Second day: The students received training on making puppets and puppet movement. The trainer was Mariam Balhas. Third day: A group of trainers called Les Amis des Marionettes presented the performance “Queen of Colors” which is a puppet theater performance made from cardboard boxes.
