Laura Demmitt Obama Department Of Justice Orchestrated Anti-Zimmerman Protests – Pushing For Race Riots? Yet another scandal is now breaking inside of the Obama Department of Justice, this time involving the murder trial of George Zimmerman, a Hispanic-American man charged with the murder of seventeen year old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman has long maintained he acted is self defense, and the details that emerged from the actual court trial appear to support that claim. Many have long suspected the Obama administration was directly inserting itself into the divisive case. Now that suspicion has been confirmed. A division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) was deployed to Sanford, Florida in 2012 to provide assistance for anti-George Zimmerman protests, including a rally headlined by activist Al Sharpton, according to newly released documents. The Community Relations Service (CRS), a unit of DOJ, reported expenses related to its deployment in Sanford to help manage protests between March and April 2012, according to documents obtained by the watchdog group Judicial Watch Judicial Watch FOIA docs show DoJ facilitated Zimmerman protests in Florida Did the Department of Justice help generate protests in Florida over the Trayvon Martin-George Zimmerman case? Or did their Community Relations Service unit attempt to moderate their tone? Judicial Watch discovered that the CRS spent some time and money participating in the protests in the spring of 2012, thanks to a trove of documents from a wide-ranging FOIA request. …The Daily Caller asked the DoJ for comment, but the spokesperson didn’t have any information on the issue at the time. With the Zimmerman case going to the jury and a verdict certain to create controversy no matter how the jury rules, perhaps Congress should look into the DoJ’s actions to determine whether they were trying to calm the waters — or trying to bring them to a boil.
