Lawyers must press for video recording of trials and judgments in serious cases: The Chief Justice of India, the Collegium of the Supreme Court of India, the Law Ministry, the Bar Councils, the Bar Associations and the President of India must cinsider video recording judicial proceedings in trials and and verdicts of trials and their respetive Appesls as well in all heinous crimes. This will begin a magical change in taking the due process of law to its logical end and innocents wont be wrongly punished. The Bar and the Bench will both maintain better judicial balances and will also help the High Courts and Supreme Court to corroborate and see what exactly happened in the trial courts if so may be needed. I am starting a signature campaign and hope all my advocate colleagues will come forward and support this effort which will benefit all stake holders of law and the justice system.
