Laying awake thinking of the stories my right hand can tell.. : I have exchanged handshakes with the likes of many! - Michael Jordan,Kareem Abdoul Jabaar, (actor, director) Bill Duke, (da Coach)- Mike Ditka, (The great)-Walter Payton, Jessie Jackson Jr(who saw Dr.MLK take his last breath), Oscar Robinson(basketball greatness), Arnold Schwarzenegger,, Sammy Sosa,(Chicago Bear greats), Richard Dent, Jim Mc Mahon, Jumbo Covert,Steve Mc Michael and Refrigerator Perry.(the best - Mr. Shakoor), - My right hand has shook many but none as impressive as my Dads and Grandpas.. The hands that have mingled with former slaves and former slave owners.. And have bare witness to a better world and given me the eyes to see, the compassion to feel and the wisdom to accomplish.... (Forgive my early morning rant!!)
