Leaders and department heads are to be passionate about Their ministry. Prepare for their ministry. PROMOTE their ministry. Pray for their ministry. Provide for their ministry. Be the first ones here and the last to go. They should be excited ... infectious ... motivators. Enthusiastic. They should be finding ways of making it grow. Hold fund raisers ... encourage friends and family to support them. Etc, etc. If you are truly passionate about something ... you wont shut up about it. You will use any means available to do what needs to be done, said and advertised. You will find a way to make it happen, if you are truly passionate about it and believe in it. I believe ... there are a lot of unbelieving believers. You eat sleep and breathe something you really believe in. Like our assistant pastor said ... You cant deny it coming out of you, if it is in you. It is you ! If you have to be convinced, prodded, and made to do something ... If you dont care for, clean, supply and covet your ministry ... or someone else has to do it for you, your individual dept. that your director over ... your heart is not in it. Of course you may need help, but , you are there ninety percent of the time available to you. And others ... On occasion. It truly is that simple. and if you do it grudgingly, without enthusiasm, without passion, practice or preparation ... your heart surely isnt in it. Its not a church thing, or what someone else did or didnt do thing ... its a matter of the heart thing. Not theirs ... but yours ! ~ Faith !
