Leaders of the world’s largest faiths have come together in a way that has never happened before in history. Their goal is to end slavery. Committed to the dignity and freedom that is the birthright of all humankind, Catholic, Anglican, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, and Orthodox leaders will sign a Joint Declaration of Religious Leaders Against Modern Slavery. These faith leaders from all walks of life, all around the world are signing a declaration to end slavery -- this could be a game changer in our collective efforts to free the world of this evil once and for all. We know you have been committed to ending slavery for some time now. Can you help use this historic declaration to spark major global action on slavery by sharing it on Facebook or Twitter? Nearly 36 million people currently live in slavery.1 Bought and sold, abused and beaten this crime strips girls, boys, women, and children of their dignity for the profit of a few.
