Leadership is about service. It is about putting the needs of the people you serve before your own at all times. That being said, after series of consultation with top leaders from various camps, my mentors and fellow constituents, I have decided to step down and support my fellow candidate Mr Steven Kariuki(K1) in the Mathare constituency by-election race. With the growing ethnic tensions between supporters of both camps, it is a wise decision to join forces for the greater good of Mathare. We are both two very young leaders who are keen on developing Mathare Constituency to be the standard unit of greatness in Kenya. As a result, we have come to an agreement that ensues a partnership that will ensure Mathare develops abundantly over the next three years in the following areas; Education, insecurity, sanitation and health. Mathare constituency is greater than all of us and our individual political ambitions should not be a determining factor on the type of decisions that we make. I am still and will always be committed to the Mathare agenda. I appreciate your support but now I ask that we stand strong together behind Mr Steven Kariuki for the betterment of Mathare. Mathare ni Billian na K1!
