We are delighted to have had the opportunity to host Adam Bisby and provide him with input for his story on culinary experiences. Dinner at Table 24 at the Podollan Inn featured the Salmon’n Wine Discovery’s three course dinner with local wine pairing. Executive Chef Chris Nicholson prepared poached pears with goat cheese, wrapped in Prosciutto with balsamic maple gastrique; pan seared wild sockeye salmon with lemon dill sauce and spinach leak potato tart and mascarpone cheese Napoleon with phyllo pastry, berries and cherry sherbert. DELICIOUS and to perfection! The Salmon’n Wine Discovery experience was selected by the Canadian Tourism Commission as one of their Canadian Signature Experiences: podollanhotels/salmon-arm/salmon-wine.php It begins with a tour to Adams River to witness the extraordinary phenomenon of millions of salmon returning to spawn; a picnic lunch from Table 24, visits to Shuswap wineries to taste and learn about cool climate wines; the exquisite three course dinner and wine pairing at Table 24; all topped off with a one or two night stay at the Podollan Inn.
