Leanne has just returned from a 3 Night Stay in New York and a Caribbean Cruise, heres what she had to say about New York... New York - New York - What can I say, it is the most amazing city I have ever visited and I just loved the buzz of it. We stayed out at the Hilton New York Penn Station as it was a pre cruise tour but it’s a great option for anyone looking to do New York on a budget as its 20 minute train ride into central New York and costs $10 return. We travelled around by hop on hop off bus, which we can pre book prior to travel as it saves so much time. I would highly recommend this. We arrived on Black Friday so managed to pick up some great bargains - but beware its not for the faint hearted!! Although cold Christmas is a truly magical time to visit the city. Walking around soaking up the atmosphere looking at the lights, the window displays and of course the Rockefeller Christmas Tree. We managed to cram in most of the sights - The Statue of Liberty, Empire Sate Building, 911 Memorial but the highlight for me had to be our horse drawn carriage around central park, it was expensive but well worth it!! Its safe to say I WILL be returning to the Big Apple in the future.
