Learn tagalog language... 1The Filipino Alphabet (Alphabetong Filipino) is the same as the American alphabet, and pronounced the same, except for these two letters:Ñ (pronounced enye) and Ng (pronounced endzi). Ad 2When you read Filipino writing out loud, pronounce each vowel.The vowels go like this: *.A is ah like at bat. *.E is eh as in Et. *.I is ee as in wee. *.O is oh as in okay, and *.U is oo as in boo. 3When you see ng as an independent syllable pronounce it as nang. 4C, F, J, Ñ, Q, V, X, and Z are only used in names, proper nouns, scientific/technical terms, and words native to other languages in the Philippines. 5Whenever you say yes (oo), no (Hindi), or thank you (salamat) to someone older than you, as a sign of respect, add po to the end Hindi and salamat (e.g. Hindi po, salamat po); (say opo instead of oo). For example, saying thank you to your Mom would be salamat po. 6Older siblings and cousins are called Kuya (for boys) and Ate for girls.You may put their name after it if you desire. (Example: Ate Gigi) 7Your friends parents, parents friends, uncles, and aunts are called Tito (male) and Tita (female).You may also put their names afterwards. (Example: Tita Kris) 8Grandparents are called Lolo (Grandpa) and Lola (Grandma).Use an abbreviated/nickname version of their name after this to distinguish different grandparents. (Lolo Ben) 9Your mom would be be Ina, Inay, and Nanay. Your dad would be Ama, Itay, and Tatay.
