I had just run through the gears on cuba road and came up on every bikers nightmare...a vehicle sitting at a side road beginning to move into the highway. He saw me...stopped in the middle of the highway...then pulled on out. I clutched, hit both brakes, and braced for the impact. I couldnt stop. The bike started going sideways, but thanks be to God I was able to keep the rubber side down and still havent figured out how I got stopped. I know I take a risk every time I get on 2 wheels, but I beg folks to start seeing motorcycles. Were not just biker trash...were somebodys son or daughter, mom or dad, brother or sister, husband or wife, neighbor, or pastor. Look twice. Save a life.
