Lesson 3: We are a Conditioned People Man is conditioned from the time he is born. We will be stereotyped by others if we did not follow the plan set out for us, therefore many of us dare not take the path less travelled, so let us applaud ourselves for taking this first step out onto the path with less footsteps. All of us make mistakes and we can make mistakes, but more often than not, we are condemned if we make mistakes. We are afraid of losing face hence many tend not to voice out their opinions for fear that they will not be accepted or that they will be wrong. However, in AA, we are encouraged to make mistakes, except not making the same mistake twice, as told by many of the mentors and seniors. AA also focuses on Abundance culture where ask and you will be given. That is why we need to show gratitude to our mentors and seniors who are there to support and encourage us, for their time spent on coaching us. Let us expand our self-image, confidence and face obstacles and challenges bravely!
