Lessons Learned in the Airport - I wanted a hand made piece of toffee but as I walked through the airport I didnt see anywhere that might carry that kind of treat. So, instead I told myself a chocolate chip cookie would do for a treat. The first cookie place I stopped at didnt have any. I walked further down and the next cookie place didnt have any. All the time I was walking and searching I was walking farther and farther away from where my connecting flight would board. I looked back at the gate and in my mind I became worries and I said to myself I better not go to far away from my gate because I dont want to miss my flight. I came upon a 2nd cookie store but they didnt have any chocolate cookies either. I said to myself, well is there anything else I could substitute for my treat. I looked around the stand and then I heard the soft but powerful God whisper it said Dont settle for anything less than what you want, which is toffee. So, I kept on walking farther away from my gate. I came to a 4 way intersection ( center hall with 4 hallways to go in different directions) I had no idea which way to walk, so I simply made a choice to take one of the hallways. I walked about 15 steps and there was an old fashioned candy store with all kinds of fresh candy and chocolate covered nuts and on the bottom shelf was my favorite English Toffee. I purchased some and as I was walking back to my gate it dawned on me that I had received a powerful message from the Universe: 1. Declare what you want and stand by it 2. Do not substitute something else for what you really want, you wont be happy 3. Its good for us to be happy 4. I may have to go in a different direction to get what I want but I will not lose sight of my larger goal. 5. I must listen to the God Whisper and obey it if I want to prosper 6. God wants me to have exactly what I desire 7. All that I desire is waiting for me to receive it 8. Stay the course and you will receive what you desire #airportlessonslearned
