Lessons learned at the beginning of a very trying week of faltering and failing photographic tools of my summertime gig. Both Ifoto apps on my external AND my desktop crashed... (some BS about my TimeMachine on my MAC!!!!) This occurred just after my D90 camera and 18-180 lens was accidentally thrown from my shoulder (whilst hanging from the strap). It just eat my entire summer salary, replacing both --new updated camera D7000!!!! Finding the fortitude to do what a poor boys got to do. Making as much lemonade as I can... Not before it threw me into another panic attack... as this "twofer" disaster implied I had to return back to Cambridge for the remainder since all the tools of my photographic trade were gone from me. The thought of returning to Cambridge at this present moment and thrusting me back into all the post Marathon bombing PTS was honestly unbearable to contemplate. Needing so much time and space away from all that -- the blowbacks never stop coming back. I/we went to Google for instructions to fix what I feared was a total loss of photo archive and corrupted apps. It all came back to my hard drives in about 90 minutes of scary work. Learned how to REFORMAT, REPAIR and REBUILD !!! Excellent watch words for us all. Special thanks to cousin Philip, savvy counselors Umberto and Amber. You saved my mind, my heart and my soul from crashing altogether. I remained blessed with the gifts of so many precious family and co-workers in La-La Land.
