Lest anyone think that my anti-Israel posts to date are tone deaf as to whats going on elsewhere in the Middle East: ISIS has now killed something like 5500 civilians, and the war in Syria has now claimed something like 170,000 lives. Clearly the entire Middle East is a powder keg. I dont hold out any hope that ISIS will revert to a humane state or that Assad will recant. But I hold Israel to a higher moral and political standard. And I realize that any number of Israelis do too.
