“Let me also address a pastor-related problem. People come to me - TopicsExpress

“Let me also address a pastor-related problem. People come to me for ministry sometimes from churches whose pastors thunder from the pulpit that Christians cannot have demons. They come to us because they know many of their problems can be traced to demonic interference, and yet their pastor keeps putting people on a guilt trip by telling them to pray more, read the Bible more, give more, and do more for God, because that will solve every problem.” “The people may have gotten onto that treadmill for a while, but their problems only got worse. Satan loves to interfere in a church that does not believe that he is real. In fact, pastors who make such a point of preaching that way essentially open the front door of the building to welcome in all sorts of demonic visitors. They supply an open invitation by ignoring and deliberately refuting the spiritual reality that Christians-including pastors can be oppressed and tormented by demons as much as any unredeemed sinner.” “If this is happening in YOUR church, go someplace else. I do not care how much money you’ ve poured into that church and how much you hate to leave your investment behind: you had better scurry out the back door as fast as you can.”- Pastor Bob Larson: Inserts from his book, “Curse Breaking”
