Let me first say that I am so fortunate and blessed to be doing the very thing I love: to listen to my customer and fully realize the dream and desire they have for their property, then add in my expertise and knowledge and make a dream a real experience. I believe that you should enjoy life each day, and much of your life is spent at your home. It’s where you operate from, commute from, eat, and sleep. On the weekends you may be able to escape, but what about Mon-Fri? Make your home an escape. Truly customize the inside and outside. If money is a factor, the starting point is still in the full home plan. Then just chip away at it, project by project. But with the full plan laid out and the first project underway you have something to be excited about. When you drive up to your home and pull in left or right, the first feeling I want to create is pride, true deep pride. Because you know when the neighbors go on their evening walk they will slow as they pass and think, wow. Whether it’s a waterfall streaming down the front, elegant tall and unusual evergreens creating a formal garden, or a small scale sandy beach with grasses and a ship wrecked boat, it should express you and connect with you. Be different. Choose a theme. When you go to get the mail, it will be a walk you’ll enjoy; you’ll stop along your driveway to check on things and just look. Where is your “spot” in the world...the beach? ..the mountains? Do you like contemporary, or modern? Your home should reflect the style you love. You should want to come home, and feel an ease of pressure when you walk in the door—and even more when you walk into your bedroom. It should be you. If you like cabins, then we create a theme in a certain room to feel identical to being inside a cabin, or we can make your whole home interior a cabin. If you like the islands, we can do a full tiki room. You don’t have to spend thousands of dollars and travel hundreds of miles to experience a release and pleasure in a vacation. You can invest that money into your own home one year and then you can be on vacation everyday you’re home. When you walk out to your backyard, you should really be in an oasis. Functional areas at different elevations separated by natural landscapes so the areas look like they just naturally happened. A cooking area, a dining area, hot tub area, fire pit area, and bar area. You may even want to do a natural swimming pond. If you have kids, perhaps you want to have an in-ground trampoline area and zip line area, perhaps a tree fort or a mini cabin. These are all the things I do, and this is how: I listen to you, as much as you’re willing to talk. The more you talk, the more I learn about you and my mind will begin to put together the design that will resonate with your soul. This is my love, my desire, my passion, my area of expertise. If you can think it, we can build it. If you can’t think it, we can think it. Sure I can just build a patio or clean up the sticks in your yard, that’s easy—and I’ll do it. But when you’re ready to come up with a plan for your homestead so you can start enjoying every day and love spending time at your dwelling place, let me know.
